Using Data to Make Decisions

"Big data" is on the rise and we live in an increasingly data-dependent world, but what are the best ways to use data to make decisions about our websites, content, user experiences and online marketing?

Data about our customers and visitors is available in so many other contexts now than ever before, ranging from data in web logs, email campaigns, mobile apps, social media and more. While it is often easier to access this data, it can be hard to find the best and easiest ways to ingrate this data into the work we do in a way that is useful and beneficial.

In this discussion from IA Summit 2016, Matthew Edgar provides specific examples of ways to think about and use data. Watch the video below or download the slides.
